Starry Night (interactive animation)

I am pretty floored at this one, i’ve felt similar things happening when spending time viewing Van Gogh’s work in person.

First lady of the lens

Here is a link to a slideshow of photos I shot while on the 15th floor of a downtown hotel as well as while traveling via boat and a few on the ground. http://ccbryson.com/birdseye/index.html

A collection of images (after a google search) to some pretty amazing photos of people in the window. Click an image to see the slideshow:

This might be my most recently obscure vinyl album and today is also the first time I have heard of this play all 3 track together idea… hmm. Individually the music is beautiful and tragic.

Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do is an EP by Sigur Rós, released in 2004 by Geffen Records. The EP consists of the songs the group composed for Merce Cunningham‘s dance piece Split Sides, which also involved Radiohead.[3]

The title refers to the only spoken words throughout the whole piece. Merce Cunningham was recorded saying “ba ba, ti ki, ba ba, di do” and this can be heard in the last track, “Di Do”.

Radiohead wrote music to the second half of Split Sides but are not planning on releasing their contribution.[3]

If all three tracks are played at the same time, they form in sync and create another song.[4]

Track listing

  1. “Ba Ba” – 6:12
  2. “Ti Ki” – 8:49
  3. “Di Do” – 5:42

Here is a link to an article on clearing our minds of all the iWeb’s. I have to say I defiantly agree: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/01/opinion/sunday/the-joy-of-quiet.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all%3Fsrc%3Dtp&smid=fb-share

A great link here, something I will defiantly read again before recording again.

Here is a link to an article on the Mute Synth. I very cool invention! I constantly amazed by this type of innovation, using simple things in smart ways to make music like no other. There is a demo sound clip in that article as well.
